Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager in Paducah, KY to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, and staff supervision. You will also assist with event planning, staff training, and ordering, while ensuring safety standards and teamwork.

The role supports a fast-paced restaurant environment with full-time or part-time shifts, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. Training will be provided and growth opportunities exist within the Subway system.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
