Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. This role supports branch leadership in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent member service, and maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. The Assistant Manager helps lead and coach team members, assists with scheduling, performance feedback, and training, and supports achievement of branch sales and service goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include resolving complex member inquiries, approving transactions within delegated authority, and monitoring cash handling and security procedures. The role also contributes to community outreach efforts, supports implementation of new products or initiatives, and collaborates with management to improve processes and member experiences.
