KnitWell Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for White House Black Market in The Shops at Nanuet, NY. You will support the Store Manager in leading a team to deliver a welcoming, customer-focused experience and drive store performance.

Responsibilities include coaching colleagues, managing daily operations, driving omni-channel sales, and building community partnerships while upholding brand standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. • Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.

Must be at least 18 years old. 3 years of retail management experience preferred. Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays. A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative. Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
