Job summary

Wet Willie's in Marietta, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager to greet customers, document vehicle concerns, and guide them through service options. You will work with technicians to diagnose and service vehicles, while promoting service specials and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires strong customer service, retail experience, and the ability to manage open/close procedures, timekeeping, and daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED
• 2+ years in a retail/customer facing environment
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug/background check including MVR
• Must be team oriented and deliver a high level of customer service
• Sales experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with inquiries by phone or in person
• Perform vehicle walk around and document customer concerns to help the technician diagnose and service
• Consult with customer on applicable service specials
• Prioritize required services and provide options upon request
• Document declines for services and follow up on future service considerations
• Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
• Assist with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to address concerns
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries to ensure proper handling
• Spend time building relationships with customers
• Know the product well enough to answer questions about the customer’s vehicle
• Perform opening and closing procedures and bi-weekly timekeeping in the absence of the Store Manager

Job description

The Assistant Manager ‘s primarily responsibility is to work with the customers as they enter the shop on identification and resolution of their automobile repair needs. This position requires strong customer service skills along with good sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have, either by phone or in person.
• Perform vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns to enable the technician to properly diagnose and service the vehicle.
• Consult with customer on applicable service specials.
• Prioritize required services, and be prepared to provide options upon request.
• Document declines for services and ask for follow-up on future service considerations
• Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
• Assistant managers remain involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns can be addressed.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• Spend quality time building relationship with the customer.
• Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questionsregarding the customer’s vehicle.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and bi-weekly timekeeping procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
