Job summary

Foodies Corner is seeking an Assistant Manager in Liberty Hill to support daily store operations and lead the team in the Store Manager's absence.

You will help maintain standards, train staff, manage customer interactions, and ensure safety and compliance across the store and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations and department activities.
• Supervise and support team members and kitchen staff during assigned shifts.
• Open and close the store according to established procedures.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying order accuracy.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and transactions professionally.
• Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels; assist with ordering and receiving.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are upheld.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and shift coverage coordination.
• Train new team members on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Assist with completing daily paperwork, cash reconciliation, and sales reporting.
• Perform regular inspections of the store, kitchen, and grounds for cleanliness.
• Support the Store Manager in staff performance discussions and store maintenance.

The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of Foodies Corner. This role serves as the leader on duty in the absence of the Store Manager and plays a key role in maintaining store standards, developing team members, and kitchenvering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
