Popeyes in Florissant, MO is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold food quality and guest service, and drive the financial performance.

You will recruit, train, and coach team members, manage schedules and labor costs, and foster a positive, inclusive culture that embodies Popeyes values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in food quality, guest service, and cleanliness
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for all team positions
• Motivate and coach team members and managers to achieve goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Oversee inventory management, food and labor costs, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Drive sales growth and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

This position operates in a restaurant environment. Popeyes staff are frequently exposed to hot equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires regular standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
