Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a passionate General Manager to lead our restaurant in Illinois. You will oversee daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and steward financial performance, while modeling a positive, high-energy culture.

You’ll recruit, train, and develop team members, manage scheduling and costs, and ensure health and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for growth within a fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment and may involve exposure to hot equipment, kitchen hazards, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift, including the ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
