Stewart's Shops in Oswego, NY is seeking an entry-level Assistant Manager to provide excellent customer service and help lead operations in the shop. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule and a path to growth within the company.

Experience in food service or retail is a plus, and candidates will work to develop leadership skills while delivering a friendly, efficient customer experience.

• Effectively run a shop in the manager's absence.
• Assist shop partners and customers with questions and concerns.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Stewart's operations, tools and culture.
• Teach others by example and create a positive, fun atmosphere.
• Assist with schedule writing and requests.
• Prepare food items such as pastries, sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and other Quick & Easy Food On The Go options.
• Make coffee and keep multiple flavor options fresh throughout the day.
• Scoop and serve ice cream.
• Process customer transactions through the register.
• Stock shop shelves, as well as the cooler and freezer.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the shop.
• Be aware of shop promotions and communicate them with customers.

Stewart's Shops is a fast growing convenience store chain in New York and Vermont with friendly store associates and great customers! We are looking for Assistant Managers with flexible schedules to provide excellent customer service in our shops. This is an entry-level management position that can help to develop your leadership skills.

• $19 - $23/hour starting pay based on experience. ESOP & Benefits package.
