Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the store runs smoothly, manage duties effectively, and uphold our standards of service.

The position offers bonus eligibility and requires open availability. Applicants should demonstrate management capabilities, a friendly disposition, and the ability to train team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 40 hours a week.
• MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver positions, as needed.
• Ability to handle fast-paced situations in the store.
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
• Willing to coach and task-manage employees on store operations.
• Willing to offer opinions and recommendations to the General Manager.
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts.
• Ability to stand, bend and reach throughout shifts.

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive. This is a Bonus-eligible position that requires open availability.
