Job summary

Jimmy John's in Statesboro, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily store operations alongside the General Manager. You will lead by example, ensure procedures are followed, and maintain store order while guiding staff on performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform, teach and train all related positions as needed.
• Able to handle fast-paced store environments.

• Able to lift 30–40 lbs regularly.
• Able to stand, bend and reach during shifts.

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive. This is a Bonus-eligible position that requires open availability.

Requirements:

• Ability to work 40 hours a week
• MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver positions, as needed
• Ability to handle fast-paced situations in the store
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Willing to coach and task-manage employees on store operations
• Willing to offer opinions and recommendations to the General Manager
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend and reach throughout shifts
