Job summary

MAA is seeking an Assistant Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team across apartment homes and property facilities. You will coordinate work orders, handle complex repairs, and ensure timely service for residents.

The role reports to senior management and includes mentoring on-site maintenance staff, with opportunities for career advancement within the multifamily portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years in multifamily property maintenance.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required.
• Florida locations require CAMT license at time of hire or by next licensing opportunity.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance work order assignments and priorities with the Senior Property Manager and Senior Service Manager.
• Handle the most complex maintenance work orders and provide prompt responses to service requests.
• Mentor and provide on-the-job training for maintenance staff.
• Assist with coordinating general maintenance and repairs for apartment homes and property facilities.
