Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for Littleton, CO. You will support the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, inspect make-ready repairs, assist technicians, and ensure safety and efficient daily scheduling.

Strong English, computer skills, and a can-do attitude are essential. Portray a hands-on, resident-focused approach while upholding company standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in maintenance-related skills.
• Able to adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient with computers and common software.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to contribute with a sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete support to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians as required to meet deadlines.
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule daily activities efficiently, monitoring for quality and quantity.
• Report all major repairs and need requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager prior to any expenditure of funds.
• Maintain shop, company equipment, ample supplies, inventory control, and ensure key security.
• Be an inspector! Tour routes and models are your showcase; make sure they look their best!
• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective and existing residents and your teammates.
