Berkshire Residential Investments is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You’ll keep properties in top condition, support management, and ensure safety and curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service.
Ideal candidates have at least one year in maintenance, with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances, plus strong written and spoken English and computer use. This role often requires weekend work.

This position offers a $1000 sign‑on bonus, eligible after 90 days of employment.

At least one year prior experience in the maintenance needs of a community
Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building maintenance
You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language
You are able to use computers and related applications

This position requires participation in an on‑call rotation, including carrying an on‑call phone and responding to after‑hours emergencies within required response times.
This position requires entering residents’ homes, including when a resident is present, to perform job duties.
This role is regularly scheduled for 40 hours per week, and may require additional hours when business needs require.
This role involves responding to a steady volume of resident work orders in a fast‑paced environment.
This position requires meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
This position will require work on weekends.
This role requires frequent professional interaction with residents, vendors, coworkers, and management.
Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
