IRT Living in Illinois is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to act as the go-to leader when the Senior Service Manager is away, ensuring smooth daily operations and outstanding resident service.

You will perform hands-on maintenance, oversee vendor coordination, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards while guiding the service team. This role offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or related fields.
• EPA I & II and CPO certifications are required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the absence of the Senior Service Manager and coordinate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks including repairs, painting, and apartment turns.
• Coordinate vendors, manage inventory, and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Respond quickly to service requests and support preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist in emergency situations and participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
