Terms Of Employment

The contract length will be 240 days.

Evaluation

Based on local district policy and Arkansas Department of Education guidelines, and performed by the maintenance supervisor.

Job Goal

The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will endeavor to provide the District students, staff, and District patrons with clean, safe, and secure facilities.

Performance Responsibilities

• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Supervises maintenance and custodial staff.
• Maintains personnel files of maintenance and custodial staff.
• Schedules daily work for maintenance staff.
• Prioritizes work orders and maintains work order system.
• Communicates with maintenance staff on District facilities, repairs, and replacement.
• Works with District administration and building administration for maintenance to buildings, grounds, machinery, and equipment.
• Works with maintenance supervisor in scheduling maintenance staff in District projects and new construction.
• In the absence of the maintenance supervisor, the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will assume the responsibilities of the supervisor.
• Maintains and uses the District work order system and District forms.
• Follows all Material Safety Data Sheet directions on all chemical products used by the Conway Public School District; uses proper labeling and follows all safety procedures.
• Ability to work and communicate with other personnel working for the Conway School District and the students who attend Conway Public Schools.
• Other duties, as assigned.
