The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and assists in the proper physical and mechanical upkeep of the property.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill customer service requests promptly
• Complete daily rounds, check mechanical equipment, recreational facilities, and address safety concerns
• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and heating system repairs
• Prepare and turn over vacant units/suites
• Maintain grounds and common areas
• Perform light carpentry, drywall repairs, and touch-up painting
• Take after-hours “on call” duties as assigned
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of interior and exterior of the property
• Address safety risks promptly (fire alarms, trip hazards, etc.)

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma
• HVAC certification
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Attention to detail and urgency in completing tasks
• Ability to follow instructions efficiently
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude with prospects, residents, and colleagues
