Job summary
Store Space in Winter Garden, FL is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, safety, and appearance of a portfolio of self-storage facilities. You will lead maintenance technicians, manage vendor relationships, and ensure facilities remain operational and secure.
This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, cost control, and compliance with OSHA, ADA, and company standards.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of maintenance or facilities management experience.
- Experience managing multiple facilities preferred.
- Self-storage, commercial real estate, retail, industrial, or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day maintenance operations for assigned self-storage facilities.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
- Procure proposals for work orders and oversee vendor contracts.
- Ensure facilities meet cleanliness, curb appeal, and functionality standards.
- Coordinate capital projects and work with operations teams.
- Ensure OSHA, fire codes, ADA compliance and safety policy adherence.
- Collaborate with onsite staff and District Managers to resolve issues.
