Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with leading, managing, directing, and developing the community’s facilities team, including conducting team meetings and training sessions as necessary.
- Complete resident work and service order requests promptly to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
- Manage unit turnover requests, ensuring timely completion and high quality standards.
- Assist with the management and execution of preventative maintenance programming.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships and support capital project management.
- Support resident event hosting, collaborating with the team to facilitate events and maintain customer satisfaction scores.
- Participate in the community’s on‑call emergency response system on a rotational basis.
- Assist with upkeep of community grounds, offices, buildings, pool, and other common areas to meet company quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years as a maintenance technician and 1 year in facilities management with leadership responsibility in multi‑family, residential property management or hospitality with a luxury resort or hotel.
- Experience managing a team and exercising sound judgment and discretion to make decisions.
- HVAC certification required; EPA 608 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines at all times.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, light construction, and knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to operate company equipment such as golf carts and maintenance vehicles.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The role requires significant mobility, manual dexterity, strength (lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance), and exposure to diverse environments. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
