This role involves maintaining amenities and apartment interiors, preparing units for new residents, and ensuring occupied units are well-maintained.

This opportunity is ideal if you have experience in painting, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, carpentry, landscaping, and irrigation repairs. You should be able to maintain curb appeal and troubleshoot issues.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills to address resident needs, work independently, and be solutions-oriented. Willingness to learn new technologies is essential. Certifications may be required for HVAC and pool maintenance.

Pay is based on experience.

Essential Functions
  • Follow checklists, schedules, and service requests.
  • Track and resolve service requests in the computer system.
  • Maintain records including EPA logs, MSDS sheets, and asset inventories.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and requisitions.
  • Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and orient residents.
  • Respond to punch lists, prepare units, and perform repairs.
  • Address mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues.
  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces, patch drywall, and ensure aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain grounds, clean common areas, and perform landscaping and irrigation repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance routines.
  • Assist with appliance moves, maintain golf carts, and respond to inquiries.
  • Undertake special projects for safety and aesthetics.
  • Report safety hazards and maintain supplies.
  • Be available for on-call, night, and weekend work.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
  • Proficient with mathematical calculations, schematics, and precision instruments.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Applied trades training in mechanics, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Pool and EPA certifications may be required.
  • Fluent in English for safety and communication.
  • Over three years of relevant experience with familiarity in techniques, equipment, and routines.
