Job summary

Case is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments for new residents and support the Lead Maintenance Technician with additional duties across the property. You will perform light repairs, handle maintenance requests, and assist in several areas including the pool, club house, laundry rooms, and outdoors.

A $1500 sign-on bonus is available for selected candidates, with staged bonuses after 30 and 120 days.

Qualifications

• Six months related maintenance experience, including light electrical and plumbing.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes.
• Available for on-call.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Completing light maintenance repairs to prepare apartments for new residents
• Completing maintenance requests on occupied apartments (plumbing repairs, major appliance repairs, interior/exterior carpentry, painting, roof repairs)
• Performing maintenance in leasing office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, models, pool areas, and property fences
• Maintaining pool and Jacuzzi areas including chemical checks, cleaning, and repairs to the system
• Assessing extraordinary maintenance (e.g., guttering, parking lot repairs, outdoor lighting, fences, carpet damage)
• Depositing ice-melt and shoveling snow during inclement weather
• Ordering maintenance materials and supplies with Property Manager approval
• Relaying or repairing carpeting
• Assuming Lead Maintenance Technician responsibilities when necessary
• Completing all tasks assigned by Property Manager or Property Supervisor
