Job summary

Velo Residential in Fort Worth is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support daily maintenance operations and renovations across a property. You will work with the Lead Maintenance to ensure timely repairs and make-ready tasks are completed while maintaining a safe, clean community for residents.

The role requires at least 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, with skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.

Qualifications

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings.
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion.
• Assist Lead Maintenance with the make-ready process.
• Maintain a clean community and a safe workspace.
• Maintain Swimming Pool as needed.
• Complies with Velo Residential's safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in the community’s routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.
• Demonstrates customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services, and completing assigned work orders with efficiency and urgency.

• Independent and proactive, with the ability to complete routine repairs and identify problems without constant supervision.

• Reliable, accountable, and safety-conscious, with a strong work ethic and ownership of assigned work.
• Valid EPA Certification is required.
