Job summary

Pointe at Northern Woods in Columbus is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to support the Maintenance Director in daily maintenance and service operations, overseeing work orders, PM programs, and life-safety compliance.

The role includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, and ensuring timely service delivery to residents while protecting the property’s assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certs preferred.
• 3+ years maintenance or facilities experience in multifamily or property mgmt.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for residential units, common areas and building systems.
• Manage service requests, unit turns and emergency repairs with timely close-out.
• Support PM programs and document inspections in the CMMS.
• Ensure life-safety compliance and proper PPE usage on site.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate vendor services and inventory.
