Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of facilities management experience, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems and related codes.
• Comfort with a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Carry out repairs across buildings, grounds, and resident apartments.
• Assist with resident room turnovers including painting, drywall repair, and minor renovations.
• Safely move and assist in transporting furniture and equipment as needed.
• Contribute to a safe, well-maintained community environment.
• Mentor maintenance technicians to ensure quality workmanship.
• Train on Maintenance Director leadership responsibilities for future promotion.

• Hands-On Hero: Perform essential preventative and corrective maintenance on critical building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and various mechanical equipment.
• Property Protector: Conduct timely repairs and general maintenance across our building structures, beautiful grounds, and individual resident apartments.
• Smooth Transitions: Assist with resident room turnovers, showcasing your skills in painting, drywall repair, and minor renovations.
• Team Support: Safely move and assist in the transportation of furniture and equipment as needed.

What You Bring (Your Qualifications):

• A minimum of 2 years of solid experience in facilities management, with a strong preference for experience in senior living or a healthcare setting.
• A robust working knowledge of essential building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and a clear understanding of related code requirements.
• Comfort and proficiency with a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (safely and repeatedly, as required).
