Job summary

Oak Park Place in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to support the Maintenance Director with operations, maintenance, administration, and property improvements. You will prepare rooms for new residents, inspect projects for code compliance, provide a high level of customer service, and coordinate major repairs and remodeling with the director.

Requirements include two years of building maintenance experience and on-call availability for evenings and weekends; benefits

• Two years of experience in building maintenance is required.
• Ability to be on call for evening and weekend emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with operations, maintenance, administration, and improvements of the property.

Assistant Maintenance Director

responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Maintenance Director with operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of the property
• Prepare rooms for new residents
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects of property alongside the Maintenance Director
• Maintain community landscaping to make sure the outside is as presentable as the inside

Requirements

Assistant Maintenance Director Qualifications:

• Two years of experience working in building maintenance
• Ability to be on call for evening and weekend emergencies
