Job summary

Linen King Memphis in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Chief to oversee the maintenance operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment and machinery run efficiently and with minimal downtime. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, help develop and implement maintenance schedules, and ensure high standards of safety and reliability across plant systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

About the Role:3rd shift

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Maintenance Chief to oversee the maintenance operations of our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. As the Maintenance Chief, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field


• 5+ years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment


• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices


• Excellent leadership and management skills


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Electrical and PCM


• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles


• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)


• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques
