AWI Management Corp. in Chico, CA is seeking a skilled and dependable Assistant Maintenance Technician to help maintain a 107-unit apartment community.

You will perform general maintenance tasks, respond to repair requests, and work with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. Experience with general building upkeep, landscaping, and affordable housing programs is preferred; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are

Responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance to keep building systems in good condition.
  • Maintain grounds and landscaping to support curb appeal.
  • Assist with annual apartment inspections and identify maintenance needs.
  • Work with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
  • Report lease or house rule violations when observed.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.

WhatYou'llDo

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is wellmaintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:
