Job summary

Green Bay Packaging - Great Lakes Division is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator - Laminator for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin. You will assist in set-up, operate laminating equipment, perform quality checks, and help minimize waste while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior laminating or adhesives experience is a plus; strong measurement skills with rulers and fractions are important. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior laminating or experience working with adhesives a plus.
• Strong ability to read a ruler and understand fractions.
• Corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Previous mechanical or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up of equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
• Inspect before and after running to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before next run.
• Minimize material sheet, label, and adhesive waste.
• Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
• Perform continuous quality control: select material at random to check size, material, print and glue.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits.
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
