Job summary

A-1 Hospitality Group in Pasco, WA is seeking an Assistant/Supervisor Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring rooms meet Marriott Standard policies and guest expectations. You will supervise staff, assign tasks, and monitor cleanliness and productivity on a daily basis.

The role offers $20 per hour, with medical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days of full-time employment and paid vacation after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in housekeeping in a large facility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible with nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Assign daily boards to housekeeping team members.
• Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives.
• Monitor cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas.
• Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office.
• Oversee all housekeeping duties.
• Maintain productivity and labor cost goals.
• Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing linen inventories and cleaning supplies.
• Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure quality services are rendered and guest relations are enhanced.
• Prepare for audits and collaborate with management to improve results.
• Other duties as assigned.
