The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Davenport, IA is seeking a part-time Kitchen Supervisor at our thrift store. You will oversee beneficiaries in the kitchen, manage menus, inventories, and orders to support efficient canteen operations.

This role emphasizes hands-on supervision, training on safety, compliance with Health Department policies, and coordination with the Kitchen Supervisor to maintain smooth daily operations.

• Source and coordinate food donations
• Monitor canteen sales and card tracking
• Maintain kitchen log communications
• Execute Health Department policies
• Prepare for regular inspections
• Coordinate with Kitchen Supervisor on all operations

Schedule:

20 to 29 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About The Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. In this role, you'll oversee beneficiaries in the kitchen while managing inventory, menus, ordering, and canteen operations. This position is crucial in maintaining efficient kitchen operations while supporting our rehabilitation program.

What You’ll Do

Supervision & Training

• Train beneficiaries on Kitchen Safety and Compliance protocols
