$43,000 - $70,000 annually

Texas Roadhouse is looking for a legendary Assistant Kitchen Manager to assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily operation of the Back of House and assisting with ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food. Responsibilities of an Assistant Kitchen Manager include:

  • Supervising and overseeing the production of food
  • Enforcing compliance with all employment policies in collaboration with management
  • Monitoring tickets and setting the pace during peak hours
  • Managing through hands-on supervision, including assisting with serving, hosting, cooking, etc.
  • Conducting formal line Taste and Temp checks
  • Ensuring proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • Managing inventory and tracking waste under the direction of the Kitchen Manager
  • Maintaining cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
  • Ensuring consistency in food and service to increase sales
  • Practicing safe food handling procedures
  • Ensuring employees follow established recipes and procedures
  • Creating a safe environment and developing Back of House employees
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the restaurant for guests
