Job summary

Littelfuse, Inc. in Mexico is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Assistant to support recording and reconciliation tasks across plant finance operations. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, and invoicing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly reports, processing tax and payroll payments, and assisting with DIOT and INEGI reporting. This role offers growth within a global industrial technology leader and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical/trade degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Accounting/Finance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record all plant financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and general journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Receive and record vendor invoices in the payment processing system.
• Process and execute tax and payroll payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash activities.
• Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation.
• Prepare and submit DIOT reports and INEGI statistical reports.

The Accounting & Reporting Assistant , supports accounting practices through standard tasks which may include processing, correcting and reconciling accounting reports and documents, invoices, cash receipts, vendor statements, journal vouchers, etc. Reviews, codes and processes financial information. Reviews, verifies, and processes expense claims while ensuring compliance with rules for employee expenses. Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for review. Provides audit support as needed.
