BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

• Create a relaxed destination – Develop and streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and Regional Manager.
• Set the course – Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure both BOH and FOH deliver exceptional service experiences that reflect the Tommy Bahama lifestyle through brand execution, visually and experientially.
• Build the perfect oasis – Facilitate the implementation of company learning and training programs, monitor performance, and ensure the transfer of learned skills on the job.
• Support your crew – Work with Restaurant Managers to assist employees with career development strategies, improve retention, and build bench strength.
• Proactive in Paradise – Partner with the Retail General Manager, Executive Chef, and Bar Manager on shared expenses with restaurants.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

• 4+ years of hospitality experience.
• 2+ years of Restaurant Management / Leadership experience.
• Current food handler’s card and other certifications as required by law.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
• Comfortable using computers, Windows, Microsoft Office, POS systems, and Outlook Email.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to perform other duties necessary to support the business.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 40 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Routine standing for the duration of shifts.
• Operate equipment such as hand carts, blenders, knives, wine keys, and other tools listed in the training manual.
• Shifts scheduled based on business needs.
