codeCampus is hiring Assistant Instructors in the San Diego/La Jolla area to train and help deliver STEAM lessons to K–8 students using our curriculum.

No prior coding experience is required; we provide paid training and ongoing development. The role involves working with partner schools, and duties include classroom instruction and supporting site staff.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid).
• Available Monday to Friday.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.

Responsibilities

• Work with site staff at our partner school in the area, in this role at School of Madeleine and All Hallows Academy.
• Teach STEAM lessons for students in classrooms using our proprietary curriculum.
• Teach students in grades K-8.
• Additional duties as assigned.

About the role

codeCampus is seeking to hire and train Assistant Instructors in the San Diego/La Jolla area for the remainder of the school year and beyond.
As an Assistant Instructor, you will:

• Work with site staff at our partner schoolin the area - in this role you will be working at both the School of Madeleine and All Hallows Academy
• Work with Lead Instructors to teachSTEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
• Teach students in grades K - 8th
• Additional duties as assigned

About you

This role is great for early-career educators who have availability during the current school year. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hour depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
