Job description

The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager positions are primarily responsible for fulfilling our mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. They perform various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks as assigned by store management, including cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures, and routine cleaning. They work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates, and provide leadership. The AIT and Assistant Manager share responsibilities for training and motivating Teammates and acting as the Store Manager in their absence. The Assistant Manager role is a progression from the AIT position, with additional high-level duties specific to that position, though most responsibilities are shared.
