Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Vermont invites applications for an Assistant Human Resources Director at Spruce Peak. You will assist the HRD in leading day-to-day HR operations, oversee HR office admin, and help foster a culture that reflects Hyatt's care for people.

You will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, housing, and training, as well as performance management and leave administration, with opportunities for growth within Hyatt's global portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• HR certification(s) preferred.
• Minimum of two years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Minimum of two years of HR experience in hotel or hospitality leadership.
• Strong HR generalist experience.
• Experience in payroll administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, and training & development.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Highly organized with strong administrative and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HRD with day-to-day HR function and office administration.
• Oversee HR office administration and foster Hyatt's caring culture.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and international recruitment.
• Handle housing, performance management, and leave of absence administration.
• Lead training and development, and engagement initiatives.
