Supervisor and Operations Manager, address customer cleanliness concerns, and collaborate to meet department goals. The role requires 2 years of progressive housekeeping experience, familiarity with APPA standards, strong leadership, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional progressive experience in facilities management housekeeping and custodial operations.
• Registered Executive Housekeeper (REH) or Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) certification is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buildings under responsibility maintain APPA cleanliness levels and perform monthly quality audits.
• Assist with assigning housekeeping tasks and duties and manage staff allocations.
• Provide staff with adequate supplies and equipment to perform daily tasks.
• Support Sr. Supervisor with payroll deadlines, system corrections, and time adjustments as needed.
• Manage housekeeping attendance calendars and monitor employee performance, applying disciplinary actions when required.
• Oversee vendor inventory (VMI) to control supply consumption and ensure proper microfiber handling.
• Coordinate with maintenance and safety teams; enter work requests in EAM and address equipment issues.
• Lead start/end shift meetings and address customer complaints.
• Manage keys and respond to key box alerts; ensure keys are returned and investigate losses.
• Potentially operate Duke transportation to move staff between facilities.
• Ensure monthly safety trainings and report work-related injuries with the safety team.
