Moravian Manor Communities in Lititz, PA, seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Environmental Services team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. The role is full-time, with hours from 6:30 a.m.

to 3:00 p.m., and requires availability every other weekend and some holidays. The position emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and quality assurance to maintain high standards, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a not-for-profit

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping; supervisory/leadership preferred.
• People skills and professional communication with residents and staff.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office; able to learn new software.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Meets with the Housekeeping Supervisor regularly to discuss activities and issues.
• Ensures environment meets sanitary, safety, and cosmetic standards through QA inspections.
• Provides guidance and supervision to frontline staff with the Supervisor.
• Covers housekeeping assignments as needed due to staffing shortages.
• Creates and revises staff schedules with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintains floor surface preventative maintenance and overall upkeep.
• Leads the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, including weekends and holidays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
