Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsburg, PA, seeks an experienced Lead Housekeeper to oversee daily housekeeping operations across the community, including common areas and resident apartments.

You will manage schedules, supervise staff, and ensure cleanliness standards while maintaining resident privacy and following policies. The role requires leadership, reliability, and a team-focused approach within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in housekeeping with leadership experience.
• Ability to coach/direct housekeeping staff.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift 25 lbs.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete housekeeping work schedules.
• Assist with finding coverage for staff call-outs.
• Oversee cleaning of the entire facility, with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Operate the laundry equipment when needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to housekeeping supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy/confidentiality at all times and follow policies.
