Job summary

HRI Hospitality's downtown Indianapolis property is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to uphold the highest cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards while leading a diverse team.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance, manage inventory, and ensure OSHA safety and brand standards across rooms and public spaces. This role offers growth in a thriving Midwestern market with weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel/resort environment.
• 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with property management or housekeeping systems (OnQ/Opera/HotSOS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces for quality assurance and adherence to brand standards.
• Support scheduling, training, and performance feedback for housekeeping staff.
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
• Monitor productivity and assist in maintaining labor and supply cost controls.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure timely room readiness and repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and company policies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and assist with reporting as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
