Job summary

Grande Shores Ocean Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to ensure housekeeping operations run smoothly and meet cleanliness standards. The role supports planning, organizing, and monitoring housekeeping, laundry, and public areas activities.

You will train staff, assist with department budgeting, communicate with hotel administration, and oversee inspections and guest issue resolution to maintain exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with hotel administration and departments.
• Experience training new and current staff in housekeeping processes.
• Ability to interpret data to adjust schedules, goals, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach staff and new hires.
• Assist in managing department budget and inventory control.
• Coordinate with other departments to align expectations and goals.
• Perform inspections of housekeeping areas and public spaces.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Participate in hiring for the department and conduct interviews.
• Prepare staff schedules according to business needs.
