Job summary

Grande Shores Ocean Resort is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector for the morning shift (9:30 am–4:00 pm). You will assist the housekeeping team, ensure rooms are clean, safe, and visually appealing, and act as a liaison between staff and management.

Responsibilities include coordinating shifts, performing room inspections, training staff, safeguarding chemicals, and communicating with other departments to meet guest needs. Weekend/holiday availability is required and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping.
• Able to work well with others while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Company standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacement in cases of absence.
• Perform room inspections.
• Inspect housekeeping closets for cleanliness.
• Confirm that only approved chemicals are in use by housekeepers.
• Efficiently manage supplies.
• Participate in cleaning projects as required.
• Coach, train and lead housekeeping staff.
• Communicate information to the Housekeeping director.
• Coach, train and lead housekeeping staff.
• Communicate with other departments to fulfill guests needs.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards.

Job description

As a housekeeping Supervisor, youwill be assisting our team of Housekeepers, while making sure our property isboth visually appealing and safe. Your responsibilities will include but are notlimited to; responding to guests' needs, room inspections, and acting as adirect line between housekeepers and management. You will be responsible forensuring that we continue to give our guests and homeowners the higheststandard of cleaning possible.
