Job summary

LOTTE HOTEL SEATTLE is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This full-time role in Seattle includes coordinating staffing, inspections, training, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and interdepartmental cooperation to maintain flawless service.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of housekeeping supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, room inspections, cleaning standards, and linen management.
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory, ordering, payroll/timekeeping, and administrative functions preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of PMS, housekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, assignments, staffing, breaks, and coverage based on occupancy and business needs.
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house areas and ensure standards are consistently maintained.
  • Lead daily team briefings and communicate priorities, VIP information, special requests, and operational updates.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, attendance, payroll, timekeeping, and productivity monitoring.
  • Manage housekeeping inventory, including linens, guest amenities, cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment; place orders, receive supplies, and minimize waste.
  • Ensure VIP rooms, guest requests, amenities, and preferences are completed accurately and on time.
  • Respond to guest requests and housekeeping concerns and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Security, and other departments regarding room readiness, maintenance issues, supplies, and operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records, schedules, reports, inspection documentation, and required checklists.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards, safety procedures, health and sanitation requirements, and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and team performance.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and positive working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or senior leadership.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, overnight, and holidays.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven, and highly motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

The Housekeeping Supervisor provides hands-on direction to the housekeeping team and is responsible for coordinating daily operations, supervising team members, conducting inspections, supporting scheduling and payroll processes, managing inventory and ordering, and ensuring consistent adherence to hotel and departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
