Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at The Lodges at Breezy Point in Breezy Point, MN. The role focuses on overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming environments for guests and owners.

Responsibilities include assigning duties, supervising staff, coordinating with other departments, training personnel, and preparing operational reports. The position requires strong communication skills and OSHA knowledge, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years in a management/supervisory role, preferably in a resort/hotel.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assigns staff duties and inspects work for cleanliness.
• Investigates complaints and takes corrective action.
• Obtains lists of rooms to be cleaned and prospective check-outs for assignments.
• Coordinates work across departments.
• conducts orientation and in-service training; explains policies and procedures.
• Forecasts department personnel requirements and staffing levels.
• Recommends improvements to service and operations.
• Prepares reports on occupancy, payroll and department expenses.
• Performs cleaning duties during emergencies or staff shortages.
• Attends staff meetings and communicates policy changes.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager assists in overseeing the operations of the housekeeping department, providing a clean and safe environment to provide our guests and owners with an enjoyable stay.

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Assigns staff their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
• Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action
• Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs to prepare work assignments
• Coordinates work activities among departments
• Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures and to demonstrate proper use and maintenance of equipment
• Evaluates records to forecast department personnel requirements
• Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
• Prepares reports concerning room occupancy, payroll, and department expenses
• Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage
• Attends staff meetings to discuss company policies and guest/owner complaints
• Issues supplies, room keys, equipment to staff
• AdvisesHospitality-Front Office of rooms ready for occupancy
• Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, timesheets, etc. and submits to HR
• Recruits, hires, and trains staff
• All other duties as requested

Here’s what you have already achieved:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a management/supervisory role, preferably in a resort/hotel atmosphere
