Job summary

AIRE Los Angeles is assembling a dedicated housekeeping team as we prepare to open our first North American location in the Arts District. As Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee daily cleaning activities, support recruitment and scheduling, and ensure guests experience a spotless, welcoming environment.

You bring at least 1 year of team management, 2 years in cleaning, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a team management role.
• 2+ years of experience in a cleaning job or related.
• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Effective conflict management abilities; assertive and cooperative.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager with recruitment, training, and team scheduling (shift planning and rotations).
• Oversee daily team performance, provide feedback and identify development needs.
• Ensure guest comfort in changing areas; maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Uphold AIRE standards for appearance, conduct, and customer service.
• Coordinate Cleaning, Laundry, and Locker teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Monitor processes, tools, and resources; propose sustainable improvements and assist with stock control.

The Role:

As we prepare to open our new centre in Los Angeles, we are seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager who will play an important role in establishing and supporting our Housekeeping operations.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and operational excellence by overseeing daily cleaning activities, leading and supporting the Housekeeping team, and ensuring compliance with company standards and safety protocols, while creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for both guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the manager in recruitment, training, and team scheduling, including shift planning and rotations.

• Oversee daily team performance, providing individual feedback and identifying development needs.

• Ensure client comfort in changing areas, addressing concerns and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

• Uphold AIRE’s standards for appearance, conduct, and customer service at all times.

• Coordinate the activities of the Cleaning, Laudry and Locker teams ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Monitor processes, tools, and resources, proposing sustainable improvements and assisting with stock control.

Who You Are:

• Have a minimum of 1 year in a team management.

• Have at least 2 years of experience in a cleaning job or related.

• Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

• You have effective conflict management abilities, and you are assertive and cooperative.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
