Job summary

The Arc of Bristol County in Rehoboth, MA is seeking an Assistant House Manager to support the ABI House Manager in daily operations of residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time role emphasizes staff supervision, programming, and coordination of medical and clinical needs within the residence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years equivalent work experience with individuals who have developmental/intellectual disabilities and/or ABI
• Knowledge of community systems serving adults with ABI/TBI
• Experience in supervision preferred
• Current drivers’ license and ability to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a team of direct support staff including training, scheduling, and performance reviews
• Oversee daily activities and staff communications
• Ensure documentation is complete and timely
• Assist in budgeting and tracking of spending
• Review progress notes and data sheets and report issues to supervisor
• Coordinate with families/guardians and schedule visits
• Participate in ISP and team meetings and trainings
• Rotate on-call duties and back-up staff as needed
• Maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and partner agencies
