Qualifications

• Must possess a teaching certificate or ASEP certification.
• Background check and drug test required for employment.
• Be competent and understand the basic skills of the individual sport.

Responsibilities

• Preseason: Size and order uniforms and equipment.
• Distribute uniforms and orders.
• Plan, organize and coach summer practices.
• Plan and receive administrative approval for fundraisers to defray the athlete's costs.
• Manage and distribute sports schedules.
• Complete IHSA online rules review and NFHS concussion training.
• Provide first aid for students; maintain emergency procedures.
• Recruit athletes for programs.
• Hold informational meetings for parents and participants.
• Set up and manage tryouts.
• Follows all state, league, federation, building and district procedures and policies.
• Organize and participate in all Homecoming activities and other events.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and grades.
