Job summary

NaphCare is seeking an Assistant Health Services Administrator to join the Clark County Detention Center team in Las Vegas, NV. The AHSA works with correctional officers and medical staff to ensure high-quality care while maintaining security and compliance with company policies.

You will oversee clinical operations, manage budgets, coordinate training, and ensure NCCHC/PREA/healthcare standards are met within a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a current, unrestricted RN license in NV.
• Active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association).
• Two years’ experience in health services administration in correctional or acute care settings.
• Ability to manage budgets and analyze contracts and staffing matrices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and staff coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of clinical operations across medical, mental health, dental, and allied services.
• Perform clinical rounds and ensure nursing staff responsiveness to patients.
• Coach, supervise, and troubleshoot with staff to support a cohesive team.
• Handle scheduling, records, budgets, and planning to meet contractual obligations.
• Ensure clinical quality standards and monitor through performance reviews.
• Coordinate staff training and in-service jail staff training.
• Ensure compliance with NCCHC, PREA, regulatory requirements and training mandates.
