PureGym US in Nutley, New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to support the Gym Manager in running day-to-day club operations and to help create a great place to work and work out for the team and members. You will play a key part in delivering an outstanding member experience, staffing, cleanliness, safety, and onboarding, while supporting ongoing development of team members.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in a fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable
• Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
• Ability to successfully obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager
• Assist the Gym Manager in recruitment of Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates and work with the Gym Manager to help onboard all new team members.
• Interview, hire and develop all new members of the team to ensure they have a great onboarding experience.
• Maintain our levels for cleanliness and organization of all areas in the gym.
• Ensure the safety of Members, Guests and Team at all times.
