Job summary

PureGym is expanding into the United States and seeks an Assistant Gym Manager to help run daily operations and create a great place to work and work out for the team and members.

You will support the Gym Manager across member experience, team development, and daily operations, delivering high standards, ensuring safety, training new staff, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the club.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic, friendly and personable.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about the fitness industry.
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience through service and standards with the Gym Manager.
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates.
• Interview, hire and develop new team members for strong onboarding.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all gym areas.
• Ensure safety of Members, Guests and Team at all times.
