Job summary

The Little Gym of Eagan is seeking an Assistant Gym Director to support daily operations and lead fitness programming, member experiences, and staff development in a dynamic, child-centered fitness environment.

You will coach on biomechanics, supervise group classes, promote safety, and drive member engagement while shaping a positive, energetic culture for clients and team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports coaching, personal training, or fitness industry roles with a focus on client motivation and program design.
• Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition, and body mechanics.
• Certified in first aid, CPR, AED, and manual handling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to teach physical education or group fitness classes effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a talent for building client rapport and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Prior experience in health club management or gym operations is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high energy levels throughout the day.

• Lead by example in delivering motivational fitness coaching and personalized workout plans tailored to individual client needs
